Mikka comes from a long line of Champions and proven workers. If I spent more time in the conformation ring with her, she would be one too. We garnished 5 points before I decided it was not my thing.

My passion is the performance sports and Mikka was always a willing participant in everything. Together we earned many titles. She excelled in agility and herding, but unfortunately my ability held her back, especially in herding. She is a natural, I am not.

 

Mikka has been the easiest dog I have owned (and I have had over 20) to live with. I can take her anywhere. Although aloof with strangers, just like the breed standard states, she will let anyone pet and even hug her. She is indifferent to most dogs, never aggressive, but can be a flirt to those she has taken a liking to.

 

At the Nation Specialty last fall, 2022, in Colorado, we competed for the versatility title. She took 3rd place!! In the conformation portion, she took 2nd, winning over several Grand Champions.
